ICEA Arts is the performing arts initiative of the International Children Education Association (ICEA), a Culver City–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2018. Our mission is to bring accessible dance, music, and theater performances to the community, create opportunities for young performers, and celebrate cultures through shared artistic experiences.

Community Lunar New Year Celebration @ The Wende Museum: Movement Across Cultures
Chinese classical dance, Indian classical dance, Korean traditional percussion, Chinese martial arts, guzheng, and youth cello shared one community program — the direct foundation for 2027's more intentionally integrated festival.

Since 2018, Mandarin Musical Theater and ICEA Choir have given hundreds of young performers a stage of their own.
Mandarin Musical Theater
Legend of Mulan
A large-scale Mandarin musical retelling the Mulan story through acting, singing, dance, and cultural storytelling — the largest student cast in the program's history. Made possible in part by the City of Culver City and its Cultural Affairs Commission, with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment and the Culver City Arts Foundation.

Winter Choir Camp
Young singers built vocal skills through rehearsal, ensemble training, and a culminating camp performance.
Annual Concert
Students presented expressive choral singing and movement in ICEA Choir's annual concert.
Annual Concert
Children, parents, and adult singers performed together, celebrating family participation through music.
ICEA Choir also creates original music videos that combine singing, storytelling, and creative filmmaking: You Are the Miracle, You Have a Pretty Smile, Pear Blossoms Once Again, My Gifts from the World, Little Mermaid, and Small Hand in Big Hand.

Founded in 2018, the International Children Education Association (ICEA) is a Culver City-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering children and families through performing arts, cultural exchange, and community engagement.
ICEA Arts brings together Mandarin Musical Theater and ICEA Choir today, with dance and music joining next, so every young performer — and every tradition — has an equal, equitable platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
